Hey there!
Welcome to the She is Tech Hub.
Here’s a guide to making your experience at our hub comfortable.

Manage your email notifications

On default all email notifications are turned on.

But you can manage this: go to Account Settings – Email Settings and choose your preferences.

Note: We recommend that you leave “Event updates” on so that you don’t miss anything.

Profile info

You can fill in whatever you like. You’ll receive SheCoins for completing your short bio (see details below).

Note: Your photo must be in square format to be displayed correctly.

In the panel on the left, you can see a number of different sections, so let’s take a quick look at them.

Feed

Here you can see all the updates on the platform and/or post discussions, your thoughts, ideas and insights on speeches from the She is Tech conference.

You choose which updates you want to see (events, friends, etc).

Events

We run regular webinars for the She is Tech community. Check this section to find out about these events.

Quests, SheCoins and Shop

These three sections are interrelated.

Complete tasks in Quests – tell the community about yourself, share your first post, join a stage discussion, Run for Her and others.

You’ll be rewarded with SheCoins for completing each of these tasks and you can view your balance in the SheCoins section.

Finally, go to “Shop” and select the item (book, career consultation or mentorship session) you would like to purchase with SheCoins.

Note: Purchases will be available after the She is Tech conference. Will notify you on Feed about start of sales.

Members

Find friends and likeminded people here. You can add members to your friend list and chat with them via direct messaging.

Blog

Materials from the experts will be shared here. For now, you can familiarise yourself with the She is Tech conference agenda and check out the details of all the stage speeches.

Forums

Start a discussion with the community. Suggest a topic that interests you and share your thoughts.
